History
Starting out in 2005 in the Cascais Marina as Café 5, Chef Diogo Simões decided to take the necessary step forward in his culinary creativity and opened 5entidos Cascais at Casa do Largo, right next to the Cascais Parochial Church.
In 2018, another important step came almost as a recognition of his diverse cuisine: 5entidos opened in Comporta in Grândola, right by the beach, where the menu blends in with the environment.
Everything takes time to achieve, but it’s in the great teams that success happens.
We want to awaken your senses to the fullest.
With the pandemic in 2019, while resisting all odds, we held out until 2021 until we were forced to leave the space that welcomed us in Cascais, and almost for the same reasons (property speculation) we were also forced to close 5entidos Comporta in 2023.
But like a good prodigal son, we have returned to our origins in Cascais, in a completely new space, in a more modest and elegant place, in Areia, just a stone’s throw from Guincho Beach. Where we await you to awaken your SENSES!

We want those who visit and frequent our spaces to have a multi-sensory experience, from taste and smell with our menu, to hearing with live music, to sight with the various exhibitions we have decorating our spaces. We want to give you the best of the senses, the comfort and pleasure of being in our restaurants.
